Pink Eiga TV Releases: January 20, 2016

Honeymoon and Bizarre Lust of a Sexual Deviant, two very eye opening exploitation films

Pink Eiga TV released a few films this week.  Here are some snippets from the reviews!

Honeymoon: Japan's Biggest Sex TV Station

"Honeymoon is a Slovenian documentary about an awkward dude that works for Japan’s 24 hour live pornography television station. Yes, it exists. Pick your jaw up off the floor and listen to these rules though. No below the belt nudity of any kind. Male or female. But it is legal for the dude to wear a modestly sized strap-on and have the actresses perform fellacio on it. Seriously, is there a law against an average size dildo? The camera guy performs all the acts with the actress, and in this case the dude looks like the Japanese equivalent of Stephen King. Yikes. The doc follows the dude as he gives his first try at directing the live action, and the hazing his co-workers give his flaccid attempt. Viewers call in and talk to the actress, asking her to perform certain acts for them. It’s interactive in a creepy kind of way. Our socially awkward subject reveals he only works in the industry to be close to the girls in the hopes of getting in on some consensual action since his only experience is with prostitutes. I think that last bit was supposed to be funny but rather I felt it was horribly depressing." - Paracinema.net

Bizarre Lust of a Sexual Deviant

“Bizarre Lust of a Sexual Deviant” is about a man and his chloroform. A sexual deviant likes to break into women’s houses, usually while they’re showering, shove chloroform over their mouths and then molest them while they sleep. He also likes to put them in various poses and take pictures of their naked bodies. He leaves one picture behind just so the women know they’ve been violated. The city of St. Louis is gripped with fear as Chester the molester lets his chloroform fetish take over his life.
“Bizarre Lust of a Sexual Deviant” is a fetish movie. It was made for guys who get off on seeing women helpless. Most of the movie is taken up with scenes of girls being knocked out with chloroform and then having an unconscious pictorial taken of them for the freak. The movie runs about an hour so there isn’t a lot of wasted time on non-chloroform activity." - Dr. Gore Reviews

"...BIZARRE LUST OF A SEXUAL DEVIANT isn't meant for people like me. It's designed for people with...how shall I put this...stronger appetites....Just the thought that there are people out there who would get off on the events depicted is pretty damned frightening. That thought is why I couldn't turn the tape off, it's utterly fascinating. It illuminates a sexual underground that's pretty foreign to my......as many a paste girlfriends liked to put it.... "vanilla" tastes." - b-independent.com

Widow Apartment Released 01/07/16!

Widow Apartment proves that one can never escape strange roommates

Yumi Yoshiyuki has been around the Pink film community since the early 90s, starting as an actress before moving up to directing her own films.  After coming on the scene and winning Best New Actress in 1993, Yoshiyuki won the Grand Prix for Best Director in 1997 for her film Sisters Donburi: No Pulling Out.  In 2007 she wrote and directed Pink Eiga's newest release Widow Apartment. It was given Honorable Mention in the Best Film category of the Pink Grand Prix ceremony.

Widow Apartment is a story about a woman attempting to cope with the loss of her husband. As the first anniversary of his death nears, Misaki is still in mourning for Kenichi. While he was alive he ran an apartment complex full of some interesting folks, and through a clairvoyant psychic he delivers a message to Misaki that she must keep managing the place. Misaki, believing the psychic, takes charge of the apartments, working as the landlady, performing repairs, and responding to the demands of the tenants… However weird they are…

This film is sort of a dramedy, if you had to pick a genre.  Misaki is a very broken and sad widow that cannot seem to move on from the love and connection she shared with Kenichi.  Even in the bedroom she touches and plays with herself only imagining still being with her lost lover.  She's very hesitant to accept the management position, but realizes it was Kenichi's wish for her to stay there.  The work and upkeep, along with the crazy neighbors, keep Misaki busy and she begins to open up to new people.  This is where the "comedy" in dramedy comes in.  Each one of these residents is crazier than the next and they aren't afraid to show their true selves.  Widow Apartment is a touching but funny film about balancing one's desire to hold on to the past while also looking forward to new challenges and relationships in the future.
